The detector connects to your home WiFi network and sends alerts to the companion smartphone app when smoke is detected. You receive push notifications instantly, even when away from home.
What happens if the WiFi goes down?
The smoke detector continues to work as a standalone alarm even without WiFi. The 85dB siren will still sound locally. WiFi is only needed for remote notifications and app features.
Can multiple detectors be interconnected?
Yes, you can connect multiple WiFi smoke detectors through the app. When one detector triggers, all linked detectors will sound their alarms simultaneously for whole-home coverage.
