Frequently Asked Questions
What is an addressable fire alarm panel?
An addressable fire alarm panel is an intelligent fire detection system where each device (detector, call point, module) has a unique digital address. This allows the panel to identify the exact location of an alarm, unlike conventional systems that only identify zones.
How many devices can one panel support?
Our addressable panels range from 128 to 1000+ devices depending on the model. Each loop typically supports 127 devices, and panels can have 1-8 loops. For larger buildings, panels can be networked together.
What certifications do your panels have?
Our addressable fire alarm panels are certified to EN 54-2 (control and indicating equipment) and EN 54-4 (power supply equipment). We can also provide UL listed panels for North American markets.
Can the panel integrate with building management systems?
Yes, our panels support multiple integration protocols including BACnet, Modbus, and dry contact outputs. This allows integration with BMS, HVAC systems, access control, and elevator recall systems.
Do you offer OEM/private label panels?
Yes—we provide OEM services for fire alarm panels including custom branding, software customization, and documentation. MOQ depends on what you need: stock products with no customization start at 100 units — enough to test your market. Custom branding on the product requires 500 units minimum. Hardware or firmware modifications require 1,000–2,000 units due to tooling costs. Many long-term partners started with a 100 units trial and now order 50,000+ units annually.
