LoRaWAN Pipe Pressure Transmitter Kit

Model: PS-270

A LoRaWAN pipe pressure sensor — pressure transducer kit — reports bar or kPa on process and utility lines without running analog loops to a PLC. The PS-270 pairs a stainless sensing element with a decoder-ready LoRaWAN node for trend and alarm use in plant rooms and industrial yards. PS-270 closes the gap between a local gauge nobody reads and a fully wired PLC analog loop. Bar readings and threshold flags decode to named fields for pump health, filter monitoring, and utility branch supervision on outdoor LoRaWAN gateways.

What is a LoRaWAN pressure transducer?

Pressure transmitters convert mechanical stress in the sensing element to a digital reading. PS-270 installs on isolatable branches with appropriate fittings. The decoder map exports bar with configurable alarm bands. Use for filter differential monitoring, pump discharge pressure, or utility line health — not SIL-rated safety loops unless the datasheet explicitly states so.

Use appropriate isolation valves and snubbers where water hammer is present — pressure spikes beyond range can damage the sensing element. Mount with the process connection pointing down when condensate may collect in the impulse line. PS-270 suits filter differential, pump discharge health, and utility monitoring; do not substitute for SIL-rated safety interlocks unless the datasheet explicitly certifies that use case.

Decoder & Integration

Pressure (bar), temperature compensation metadata, battery, and threshold flags are documented for PS-270. Calibrate zero after installation when the line is depressurised and filled. Threshold flags in the payload support high/low alarms without custom byte parsing. Log calibration date in your CMMS when you zero the transmitter after installation. Factory functional-test records and TTN/ChirpStack decoder maps ship with every kit. Map uplink bytes once on your network server, then reuse the profile across sites.
