Agriculture LoRaWAN deployments combine soil moisture/EC, PAR light, wind, and rain kits on shared gateways. This guide covers probe placement, irrigation scheduling data, and farm-station RF planning.

Start with soil moisture and EC (PS-410) at root depth for the crop you irrigate. Pair PAR (PS-420) under canopy or greenhouse glass when light drives yield decisions, then add wind (PS-450) and rain (PS-460) for spray windows and stormwater planning.

Place the gateway with line-of-sight to field edges when possible. Dense foliage and metal barns need a site walk with a test node before you freeze SKU counts for an OEM trial.

Decode soil, light, and weather payloads into named fields once, then reuse the profile across farms. These kits report agronomic data—they do not replace agronomist judgment or local water rules.
