Install notes
Mount above the canopy with a clear sky view. Dust and condensation on the diffuser will decode as low light.
Do not reuse soil or wind decoders. Light, moisture, and wind are separate profiles on one farm application.
Named fields
| Field | Type | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| par | number | PAR / light reading in datasheet units |
| battery_mv | integer | Battery millivolts |
| fcnt | integer | Frame counter |

FAQ
Is this a lab quantum sensor?
It is an industrial LoRaWAN trend instrument. Confirm spectral response on the datasheet for research uses.
Same decoder as soil?
No. Soil moisture/EC uses the PS-410 profile.
Interval?
Follow the datasheet. Faster uplinks shorten battery life.
Agriculture overview?
See the agriculture solution page for how soil, light, wind, and rain share one gateway.
